Capurso - Pink Geometries
25 May 2021
If you soar over Valpantena in Valpolicella (which we will all envy you a lot), there is a place that you would probably recognize immediately: vineyards drawn with a ruler, vines that seem combed, cherry and olive trees that in spring create contours in white and silver.
If you see all this, you have found Agricola Moranda, of the Capurso family.
The sisters Selene and Camilla have taken over a tradition that has been in the heart of their family since 1896: creating quality wines, wines for few people, wines that speak of their family.
This is what their father, Nunzio Giovanni, passed on to them, in addition to cleanliness, to order, to put everything in its place. Working in this way means to use creativity in giving life to wines, but also knowing how to guide it, to produce exactly what you have in mind.
Taking care of the environment in which the wines are born, has led the company to develop numerous choices for the protection of biodiversity: creation of flowered areas, protection of wild species, monitoring the presence of bees, monitoring the microclimate to carry out targeted treatments, using a system of collection and degradation of plant protection products.
From the 15 hectares of vineyards owned by Capurso family, derive wines full of life, of history matured in the sun of experience: Valpolicella Doc, Valpolicella Doc Superiore, Amarone della Valpolicella Docg and Diavolo Rosso Igt. Four amazing wines that you can have delivered at home thanks to Pagus Store.
The search for beauty permeates the whole company, from the precision of the vineyards to the attention to aesthetics and environments: Agricola Moranda is in fact also an agriturismo with Corte Moranda and a location for events and weddings.
A unique place, in the heart of a natural amphitheater that is Valpantena.
