Our city of Verona was recently crossed by the historic 1000 Miglia race, which starts and finishes in Brescia, touching several Italian cities in the month of June. The roar of the 430 historic cars that paraded through the streets of the city to gather in Piazza Bra undoubtedly caused confusion, but also pleasantly intrigued the many tourists who approached to admire these jewels of the past. In fact, the requirement for participation is that the cars were produced by 1957 (the original race was held between 1927 and 1957), and along the route there were certainly no shortage of inconveniences.
We too were thrilled by this historic event that celebrates Italian genius and style, and in collaboration with Le Albare winery we have designed a tour for you that combines wine, vintage cars and discovery of the territory. Set off with us on this tour that will take you to discover the hills of Soave aboard a vintage Fiat 500. On Monte Majore you will discover all the secrets of the volcanic terroir of the Soave Classico area, which makes the wines produced here so special.
But the experience doesn’t end there! You can stop in the vineyard for a convivial moment of relaxation, during which you can enjoy a picnic among the rows with local cured meats, cheeses and cicchetti, obviously paired with a selection of wines produced by the Azienda Agricola Le Albare.
Discover all the details of the tour on the dedicated page of our website, and surprise your better half with this experience in full Italian “Dolce Vita” style!
