Meet your Guides: what guests say
My husband and I love Amarone wines and so we booked a tour of two Amarone vineyards. The tour guide and driver, Davide, was from the area and a local teacher, and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We rode in a 6 passenger van, comfortable and well air conditioned. There were only four of us on the tour. The two vineyards that we visited were different in size but both gave us a nice tour and nice tastings. We ended up going longer than planned, but Davide was not in a hurry to "get us through this". We wished we had had another day in Verona to go to some other vineyard.

We did the wonderful „Soave and Amarone“ half day tour. Our guide, Davide, has great knowledge about the area and speaks very good English.
During all travel, Davide was really kind and told us a lot of different curiosities and historical facts from the area.
We visited two wineries: one middle size and one small size. The small one was the highlight from the tour. We could visit the whole property, meet the owners while enjoying a pleasure wine tasting.
High recommended tour and we are really grateful to Davide and Guilia (who took great pictures from us) for the great experience!

Pagus wine tours definitely delivered on this one. We loved the wineries showcased and enjoyed the differences between the two wineries. Pagus provided personalized services and exceptional customer service. Davide was wonderful - very knowledgeable and a skilled driver! We would recommend their tours to anyone looking to relax and enjoy a few (to many) hours of good wine!

Did this tour on our stay in Verona. Got picked up at our meeting point by Davide, the greatest man on earth. Super happy and friendly guy who guided us to the different places. A guy with a lot of knowledge. We were only 2 persons on the tour so it really felt like a private tour, which was amazing.
Wine tasting was superb. Professional staff and lovely wine in a spectacular cellar.
I would recommend this to everyone!

We took an Amarone wine tour with Davide- which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We loved visiting small vineyards, talking to their owners (people are so friendly and passionate about what they do!) and tasting various kinds of the native Valpolicella wines. Davide was extremely helpful but also very knowledgeable about the region - so it was a great shame we were there for a week-end only and did not have time to take one of the Pagus art & history tours (next time!).

We had an absolutely fantastic day on our wine tour. Anna went above and beyond to make sure we all had a good time, answered all our questions and was a great laugh. You will have a fabulous day!

We took a private tour of two Valpolicella wineries with Anna, who was a phenomenal host. We learned a lot about the history of the region and were surprised to get a private tour of a Roman villa being excavated at one of the sites. The tour company clearly prioritizes building relationships with the vineyards they arrange tours to, as we were greeted warmly at each location. Pagus also organized our accommodations and dinner. I can’t speak highly enough about our experience!

The two wineries tour was a great look at the Valpolicella wine region, and a great comparison between a small and large winery. The wine we tasted was fantastic and Anna was very knowledgeable and accommodating!

Unfortunately, we picked a day with poor weather, but Anna, our guide was simply charming, charming, charming. An excellent driver too I might say. We loved meeting Marco at the winery and his wine was exemplary.! Luckily we had the opportunity to buy it directly from him and we look forward to enjoying the memories of our visit while enjoying some at home. Thank you again. We six couldn’t recommend Anna more.

We loved every minute of our tour. Anna was an exceptional guide. Her knowledge of the region was extensive and we learned so much. In addition, the winery was charming and the experience was top notch. This was definitely a highlight from my trip to Verona.

The cooking class was exceptional. We made ragu sauce, pasta and tiramisu. We also had a wine tasting at the winery where the class was held. The vintner, chef and Pagus staff were amazing.
The Lake Garda tour was great. We had a boat ride around the lake with a knowledgeable captain and a walk around Sirmione before returning to our hotel.
In both cases Pagus staff were on time for the pickup from the hotel, friendly and couldn't have been more helpful.

Every bottle has a Story. Every journey has a voice.
We had a really lovely wine tour with Michele today, out to the village of San Giorgio di Valpolicella for a gorgeous view of the valleys below. After this we enjoyed a tour of the DolceVera winery near Villa, owned by Marco. Excellent wine, excellent guiding, excellent salami and prosciutto, and an excellent time spent in Verona and the surrounding countryside. Would highly recommend.

Although we were the only couple booked on the trip we had a lovely afternoon being guided around the Valpolicella wine region. We sampled wine in the sunshine of the vineyards before moving into the cellars of the Vigna 800, and sampling food and wine with Luca. We were taken by Anna and accompanied by trainees Martina and Eliza, who were all friendly companions for us. Salute

My sister and myself booked the half day Soave and Amarone trip and I can't say enough good things about this tour. Davide was our guide for the day and he was very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area and wines. I myself have been on a couple of wine tours in Canada and loved learning about the Italian growing and processing of their local wines, I learned something new and each winery had a great host. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

This was a fantastic experience and highly recommended. We got to visit two very different
wineries and learn more about the wine-making process from passionate people, whilst
sampling four wines at each destination. If you're into wine definitely check this out.

What a fun trip! Sirmione was so special. And getting to be on the boat on Lake Garda was perfect. The wine and food was also incredible. We had wine shipped home, we enjoyed it so much.

This tour delivered what was promised. A short walking tour of Sirmione followed by a delightful boat tour of Lake Garda with interesting commentary by the captain. Then came a vineyard tour followed by a tasting with a lovely lunch. I am a wine lover and the visit was informative and quite tasty. Plus our guide, Roberto, was friendly, conversational and knowledgeable. This tour is highly recommended.

Our tour was fabulous! We were 2 couples and 2 adult children for a total of 6. Our guide Roberto was very engaging and knowledgeable about history of the Valpolicella wine region and the wineries we were going to visit. We were staying in Central Verona so Pagus tour office was easy to get to. Having transportation provided by Pagus to the wineries was a real plus. My husband and I are big fans of Amarone wine and cautious about which 2 wineries we would be visiting since they were not well known labels in the United States. Both wineries had great tours and excellent wines! One cellar was medium sized and the other small. We all bought some wine to ship home via Pagus. The total of 8 person tour was the perfect size and we met a lovely couple from England. I would highly recommend this tour for both experienced wine lovers and novices new to wine tasting!

The wine tasting was fantastic! Two small but excellent wineries in the heart of the Valpolicella region. The wines were very good. Our driver and guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommended and worth the money!

My wife and I booked the “A Sunday of Amarone” tour and had a wonderful day. Our guide Elisabetta was very knowledgeable and a joy to spend the day with. We visited a small winery where we tried several local wines. We then visited a town where Elisabetta told us about the history and showed us the best locations. We ended with a lunch with great food, before heading back to Verona. Compliments for the careful driving through the small and challenging roads.
We had a great time and will definitely do another Pagus wine tour the next time we’re in Verona.

Our wine tour was amazing. Roberto our tour guy was so knowledgeable. What a great learning experience and the winery was delightful. Wines were delicious and accompanied with cheese and meat to show you how the foods can change the flavors of the wine. Highly recommended!

We did a full day wine tour of the Valpolicella wine region with Davide. Davide is a great guide who told us a lot about the wine and the region itself. I’m addition, we visited two very nice wineries where we were welcomed by two very nice en enthusiastic hosts. To make the day complete we had an amazing lunch. It was a great day and I would recommend everyone to do a wine tour here! Unfortunately, we did not stay long enough in Verona to do another wine tour with Davide in another region.

I booked this tour because I love both coffee and red wine so it was the perfect combination! We were lucky to be the only people joining that day so this was transformed into a private tour which was even better! I loved the deep dive into the world of expresso, seeing the roasting process and having the chance to ask many questions. The tasting has been mind blowing and the coffee we bought is something we already enjoy at home daily. Amazing! The wine tasting has been really nice, a lovely story of the winery and a lovely guide. Anna drove us around and has been really nice, kind and knowledgeable and we really enjoyed our time together. I would certainly recommend it - the fact that the tour was focused on just two important things has been great as you coild actually take your time to enjoy rather than being rushed from one place to another.

We had done the Valpolicella tour with Pagus in the past so this time we took the Borghetto, Custoza tour on a Saturday….Azienda Agricola Gorgo was our first stop and it was really wonderful because Susie gave us a tour of awesome grounds and then we did wine and olive oil tasting…their dog, Dracola, followed us around. The wine was so good we bought several bottles of it and their olive oil (since Dracola was not for sale).
