Mazzi

Mazzi winery winery

The Mazzi Winery has a long tradition of high-quality viticulture that dates back at least to 1900, when the family began bottling wine. The winery was then known as “Sanperetto,” after the town where it is located, in the municipality of Negrar, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica region. Roberto Mazzi, after graduating with a degree in agriculture, continued the family legacy and revitalized winemaking in 1958.

Over the years, the company expanded to over seven hectares of vineyards, preserving the values and traditions passed down from generation to generation. Today, Roberto’s sons, Stefano and Antonio, passionately manage the family legacy and continue to cultivate the art of winemaking.

The cellar is the beating heart of the business. Here, the freshly harvested grapes are received and the drying and vinification processes begin, combining traditional techniques with modern winemaking expertise. During the aging process, the wine rests delicately in oak barrels, acquiring its characteristic aromas and complexity. Each bottle is the result of meticulous attention to every detail of the production process.

The Mazzi family’s cellar is a place where wine comes to life, matures, and then spreads to be enjoyed by all. Great passion and commitment allow them to bottle a vast selection of wines that express the soul and terroir of Valpolicella.
