Would you like to live an authentic wine experience without leaving Verona city for too long? Here we have what you need!
Join us on this two-hours wine tour, a stone's throw from the city, designed for the ones who have just few hours available, but still want to share a glass of wine and learn about Valpolicella wine production. Leaving from Verona city center at 10 am, we will accompany you to discover one of the historic wineries of Valpolicella, Montresor, a reality where modernity and tradition coexist to offer us wines of great quality. In the brand-new interactive wine museum, you will go on a journey to discover the history, terroir, and aromas of Valpolicella wines. The morning will continue with a visit to the historic cellar, and a tasting of five wines, among the most iconic of Montresor’s production. The focus will be on Amarone, “the king of Valpolicella”, but you will be introduced also to some of the other wines of Veronese tradition. In the wine shop it will then be possible to buy wine, if interested, before returning to Verona downtown.

Please notice: the tour leader, in respect of all guests, will wait for you in case of a maximum delay of 15 minutes.
We want you to spend a lovely day with no distress so, please, in booking our tours, inform us if you have limited mobility (in some old cellars there are stairs), or if you have any intolerance or allergy about food/wine (some tours are including appetizers in the cellar).
We ask you to inform us if you have any appointment after the tour (if you booked a train ticket or a reservation for a restaurant), so we can do our best to respect the schedule.
In the cellar the temperature is constant 15 Celsius degrees (59 Fahrenheit), so we suggest to take with you a sweater or a jacket. On this tour it is highly recommended to wear sneakers or comfortable shoes.
