A Sunday of Amarone
A lovely way to spend a Sunday when many shops in the city are not open? In Valpolicella region, the birthplace of Amarone wine! We offer you a relaxing Amarone wine tour of our vineyards. We will tour among hills covered by vineyards and olive groves: you will admire the beautiful Veronese countryside.
Firstly, we will stop in a local winery. Here, you will try the entire range of DOC and DOCG wines: a tasting of Valpolicella, Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto, with their different styles. You will find out the various production techniques as well as curiosities, and will be able to ask your questions directly to the winemaker. We will stop at the hamlet of San Giorgio Ingannapoltron.
Then, we will go to have lunch at an Enoteca, or at a typical Osteria. Truly, this is the best way to enjoy our traditional cuisine in a real Valpolicella atmosphere, tasting traditional dishes with local ingredients. So, come with us and live a calm and relaxing Veronese Sunday, enjoying wine and food of our territory. It will be an Amarone wine tour to remember!

Please notice: the tour leader, in respect of all the guests, will wait for you in case of late maximum for 15 minutes.
We want you to spend a lovely day with no distress so, please, in booking our tours, inform us if you have limited mobility (in some old cellars there are stairs); or if you have any intolerance or allergy about food/wine (some tours are including appetizers in the cellar or lunch in local restaurant).
We ask you to inform us if you have any appointment after the tour (if you booked a train ticket, an opera show in Arena or a reservation for a restaurant), so we can do our best to respect the schedule.
In the cellar the temperature is constant 15 Celsius degrees (59 Fahrenheit), so we suggest to take with you a sweater or a jacket; if it is possible we will try to show you the vineyards, so it’s recommended to wear sneakers or comfortable shoes.
