A cooking class in Custoza

With this cooking course, you will be able to discover traditional Veronese recipes and taste them paired with local wines.

Cooking class program
Welcome and meeting with your teacher, who will present the menu of the day. The teacher will help you prepare the typical recipes of Italian and Veronese cuisine, revealing all the tricks and secrets of the trade. The recipes are all made with local ingredients, to support local producers. After a couple of hours of cooking, you will finally be able to sit down at the table and have lunch, enjoying the freshly made dishes paired with Custoza DOC wine.
During the morning, if you are interested (let us know, so we can check the availability), it will be possible to visit the property that hosts us for the cooking class.
The menu may vary according to the season (we can give you more details at the time of booking), but these are some of the dishes you may find yourself preparing:
- Fresh handmade pasta (tagliatelle, passatelli) or gnocchi
- Simple second course
- Traditional dessert

Transport, tour leader at your disposal, cooking lesson, visit to the winery, lunch (with wine included).
Please notice: the tour leader, in respect of all the guests, will wait for you in case of late maximum for 15 minutes.
We want you to spend a lovely day with no distress so, please, in booking our tours, inform us if you have limited mobility (in some old cellars there are stairs); or if you have any intolerance or allergy about food/wine.
We ask you to inform us if you have any appointment after the tour (if you booked a train ticket, an opera show in Arena or a reservation for a restaurant), so we can do our best to respect the schedule.
In the cellar, the temperature is constant 15 Celsius degrees (59 Fahrenheit), so we suggest to take with you a sweater or a jacket; if it is possible we will try to show you the vineyards, so it’s recommended to wear sneakers or comfortable shoes.
