A cooking class in Custoza
If you are interested in cooking classes, here is an incredible day of genuine food and wine discover with this cooking experience in Custoza. The cooking lesson will take place in a peaceful location: Villa Ottolini, on the lovely hills of Custoza, nearby Lake Garda. This is definitely the best way to immerse yourself in the lifestyle and traditions of authentic Italian and Veronese recipes in an informal and friendly environment. During the cooking lesson, you will create a full meal. Moreover, your teacher will provide you with an explanation on all recipes using traditional Italian cooking methods. The classes are fully hands-on… are you ready to “get your hands dirty”?
Program of the cooking class at Villa Ottolini
Once at the Villa you’ll meet your teacher. In this great location, you will "get to work”. The host will introduce and present the day’s menu. Everybody will cook all the courses with the help of the teacher. You will learn all the basic skills necessary to prepare authentic Italian dishes. In addition, all the ingredients are farm-to-table in order to support local producers. After a couple of hours of cooking you’ll enjoy the fruits of your work! Then, you’ll have lunch combined with Custoza DOC wine. Finally, at the end of the lunch, you’ll receive both the cookbook with recipes of the day and your “Cooking Diploma”. At the end of the day we’ll visit the Adami winery and we’ll end with the tasting of delicious wines of this territory. The menu is (according to the season):
- Fresh handmade pasta (tagliatelle, passatelli) or gnocchi with sauce (bolognese or tomato)
- Veal escalopes in white wine Custoza Doc
- Eggplant parmigiana
- Apple pie with vanilla dressing or peaches with Passito di Custoza sweet wine

Please notice: the tour leader, in respect of all the guests, will wait for you in case of late maximum for 15 minutes.
We want you to spend a lovely day with no distress so, please, in booking our tours, inform us if you have limited mobility (in some old cellars there are stairs); or if you have any intolerance or allergy about food/wine (some tours are including appetizers in the cellar or lunch in local Restaurant).
We ask you to inform us if you have any appointment after the tour (if you booked a train ticket, an opera show in Arena or a reservation for a restaurant), so we can do our best to respect the schedule.
In the cellar, the temperature is constant 15 Celsius degrees (59 Fahrenheit) so we suggest to take with you a sweater or a jacket; if it is be possible we will try to show you the vineyards, so it’s recommended to wear sneakers or comfortable shoes.
