Do you want to live a unique cultural and recreational experience? Join us at the "Harvest with us!" day event, dedicated to the experience of harvesting and pressing the grapes to obtain the must. A journey from the bunch to the wine for adults... and, for the kids, an educational activity that starts in the countryside and ends with the grape juice that they can take home as a souvenir of an unforgettable day.
We will leave at 10.00 am from Verona, to reach the Azienda Agricola Fugolo Gianluca, where all the day's activities will take place. Once you arrive at the vineyard, you will be taught how to recognize the best grapes and how to harvest them. Armed with scissors and crates, you will proceed with the harvest, and in the meantime you can be told about all the traditions of Valpolicella and the company. Once the harvest is over, it's time for pressing! We will press the grapes together in front of the vineyard with the ancient techniques through a manual press (or for those who want with our feet!).
After so much effort it's time to rest: a tasty aperitif followed by a picnic in the vineyard awaits you, obviously accompanied by Fugolo Gianluca wines. And finally... grape ice cream for everyone!

Transport, tour leader at your disposal, harvest and pressing lession, hatvest tools, aperitive and picnic in the vineyard (wine included).
Please notice: the tour leader, in respect of all the guests, will wait for you in case of late maximum for 15 minutes. We want you to spend a lovely day with no distress so, please, in booking our tours, inform us if you have limited mobility; or if you have any intolerance or allergy about food/wine. We ask you to inform us if you have any appointment after the tour (if you booked a train ticket, an opera show in Arena or a reservation for a restaurant), so we can do our best to respect the schedule. In the cellar, the temperature is constant 15 Celsius degrees (59 Fahrenheit), so we suggest to take with you a sweater or a jacket.
FOR THIS TOUR IS PREFERABLE TO WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES AND CLOTHES YOU ARE NOT AFRAID OF GETTING DIRTY.
