Vinification: this Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2015 is a wine of profound depth, a true symbol of the Valpolicella territory and its winemaking tradition. It is born from a historic blend of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Oseleta, sourced from the Fondo Cereolo, Monte Tenda, and Castello vineyards, situated at altitudes ranging from 140 to 290 meters. Harvesting is performed exclusively by hand from the second week of September through late October, with a rigorous selection of the finest clusters.
Following the harvest, the grapes are laid out to wither in traditional drying rooms (fruttai) for approximately two months, undergoing a natural weight loss of 50%. This process concentrates aromas, sugars, and structure.
Aging: aging takes place in French oak barriques, where the wine develops complexity, elegance, and a velvety texture. The aromatic profile is broad and incredibly rich: cherries in spirit, chocolate, blackberry, marasca cherry, spices, floral notes, tobacco, licorice, and vanilla. Each sip is sumptuous, powerful, and harmonious—warm, soft, and grandly structured, with an intensely clean taste. The well-integrated freshness supports a long, balanced, and persistent finish, marking it as one of the highest expressions of the denomination.
