Tenute Falezza Falezza
Just few steps from the center of Verona, yet surrounded by vineyards, the Falezza family has continued Luigi Falezza’s work for over 50 years, cultivating vines and producing wines they describe as precious jewels. Luigi Falezza, originally from the Mezzane valley, moved to San Felice in 1974 and purchased the estate’s current holdings. In 2001, he expanded the estate with the purchase of land in the Marcellise and Mezzane di Sotto areas.
For years, Luigi has cared for these lands, preserving the ancient varieties typical of Valpolicella, such as Corvina, Corvinone, Molinara, and Oseleta, using the Veronese pergola vine training system.
Luigi’s son and grandchildren continue their grandfather’s hard work, working hard to take care of the 12 hectares of vineyards they own. Over the years, they have built a cutting-edge winery, combining tradition and innovation to consistently guarantee the highest quality of their products.
A visit to Tenute Falezza is never a simple tasting, but a true sensory journey that begins in the vineyard and culminates in a glass of wine, which Luigi described as “the poetry of the earth”.
