Siridia winery winery
Siridia is a young project. After years of experience as a winemaker at a major Valpolicella winery, in 2019 Edoardo Speri, supported by his sister Samuela, chose to embark on a new path, taking over the family vineyards. Being the first generation of the family to dedicate themselves professionally to winemaking, a new name was needed, free from historical ties. Hence Siridia, a name that leaves room for imagination, allowing each individual to give it their own meaning.
The connection with the stars, present in the logo and labels, conveys their philosophy: Siridia is the guiding star, the dream, the goal to be achieved. Their vision is that of a winemaker-archer, focused on his shot. The target is the idea, the imagined result, while the act of shooting represents the will to achieve it. Uniting them is the arrow, which transforms thought into action and traces the path to destiny.
This image illustrates the profound bond between the winemaker and nature. Just as an arrow can be deflected by a gust of wind, work in the vineyard is influenced by forces beyond human control. You can aim with pinpoint accuracy, but nature follows its course. Therefore, the archer-winemaker knows that the secret is not to impose one’s will on the target, but to harmonize with the vintage, becoming one with nature.
