A tour for those who cannot choose between white and red wines? Book this “Soave and Amarone” wine tour and, at the end, you’ll be an expert in Veronese wines… or you’ll just love their great taste!
Soave and Valpolicella represent the two most famous excellences of winemaking in Verona area. You’ll start with Soave wine region: Soave is a medieval village just about 20 kilometres east from Verona city center. Soave is indeed not just the name of the burg but also the name of its still and dry white wine. Here, you’ll visit a cellar: the wines you will taste are obtained by our local Garganega grape in different versions (sparkling, dry, sweet).
After this first stop, you’ll visit a Valpolicella (non-Classica) cellar. You will get to taste the entire range of Valpolicella DOC and DOCG wines, such as Valpolicella, Ripasso, his majesty Amarone and Recioto with their different styles.
The perfect way to end our “Soave and Amarone” wine tour? Of course, we’ll have lunch together in Enoteca or typical Osteria! We will enjoy a complete lunch (starters, first and second course, dessert) based on seasonal local food. Of course, it will be matching more great wine!
