A Soave wine tour, on the volcanic hills of the eastern side of the province of Verona. Here Garganega grapes become one of the most famous Italian white wines.

But the first stop concerns the history of this region. We visit the Medieval castle of Soave, which rises on the top of the hill overlooking the walled hamlet of Soave. Della Scala family, lords of Verona in the Middle Ages, built it at the end of the 14th century. In the following century it passed to the Venetians. Then it was almost completely restored in the 19th century. Nowadays the castle is a symbol of the region and a magnificent example of Medieval military architecture. Even if no Prince Charming nor princess used to live here, yet its beauty can still take everyone to a dream world!

Then we stop at a vineyard, to visit the cellars and have a complete tasting session of Soave wines: from the well known Soave DOC, to the ancient Recioto di Soave DOCG, produced since the Roman times with dried selected grapes, a golden liqueur, fruit of this land. Definitely, the Soave wine tour that you don't want to miss!
