Characteristics
Qualification: Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore
Grapes: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara and Croatina
Alcohol: 15,5%
Size: 75 cl
Production: After manual harvest, grapes are dryed for roughly 35 days. Obtained by maceration on the marks for 15 days.
Ageing: Aged in Slavonian oak barrels (from 10 to 25 hl) for 15 months, 4 months further in bottle before sale.
Service temperature: 16°- 17° C
Tasting Notes
Red wine with good intensity, medium body and with good alcohol level. Sweet notes of large barrel, cherry, blackberry, violets and roses. Good acidity and soft tannins.
Food pairings
Risotto, grilled, red meat, aged cheese.
